How long is the train ride?

The round-trip train ride is 90 minutes long.

How do I get my tickets?

All tickets purchased are held at the will call booth at the Newport, WA train depot on the date and time of the train ride only. When you pruchase your tickets online or over the phone you will be sent n email confirmation for your purchase. Please print out this confirmation and bring it with you. This will help us at our will call check in.

How much do tickets cost?

Tickets are $20.00 for adults (13 and older), $15.00 for seniors 65 and older and $15.00 for children (ages 2 to 12). Children under 2 years old ride free.

How often do the train rides run?

We have train rides during the month of August for our Summer excursions and several weekend in October for our Fall Excusions. You can view all dates here.

Do I need to book tickets ahead of time?

Yes. You can reserve your tickets online here or you can call our toll free phone number 1-877-5ALL-ABOARD (1-877-525-5226) between 6 AM and 5 PM Monday through Friday. If there are any tickets left for a ride they will be sold at the station. Tickets purchased at the station must be paid in cash or check only.

What time should we arrive at the station?

We recommend guests to arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the train boarding. Go to the ticket booth to check in and then proceed to the lines and select the train car that you would like to ride in. There is no assigned seating. Groups needing special assistance should arrive one hour prior to departure and alert us to their needs.

Will food be sold on the train?

No. There is a snack bar at the station grounds where you can purchase hamburgers and hot dogs. Guests are welcome to bring their own lunch and drinks in small carry on containers.

Is the train wheelchair accessible?

There is one open air car that is wheelchair (foldable or motorized) accessible. If you want to ride in an enclosed coach you must be able to ascend a few steps (we are happy to assist you as best we can) to get into one of the enclosed coaches. Groups needing special assistance should arrive one hour prior to departure and alert us to their needs. A folding chair can be carried on one of the coach cars and has room to be set up. There is also room for friends to bring folding chairs to that area or just sit near by in one of the regular seats.

Are pets allowed?

Only certified service dogs are allowed. Other pets are not allowed on the rides and there is very little parking in the shade so it is probably best to leave Rover or Frisky at home.

If you did not receive confirmation of your purchase via email, you can check your order status by calling our toll free phone number 1-877-5ALL-ABOARD (1-877-525-5226) between 6 AM and 5 PM Monday through Friday. If you created an account at checkout on our website you can login here and go to orders to view your history and print a confirmation of your tickets purchased.

Are there bathrooms on the train?

Yes. Each car is equipped with a restroom.

Are the enclosed cars air conditioned?

The enclosed cars are not air air-conditioned.
